This was my first zine.

I had been wanting to make one for a long time, ever since my ex came back from Thailand with an anarchic composition of related, yet, diverse imagery and text printed in all black in on green card. It gave me this feeling of personal power, or a glimpse into someone else’s, seeing my own reflected in it.

A huge aspect of this issue’s creative process was being non-judgemental. I just needed to get things down without worrying about how perfect or polished they were - the pages just needed to exist at all.

Eventually a cohesive vibe came out of the achromatic scheme and some simple words to spur the vibe juices.

It made me very happy - I hope you like it.
